Outpatient
Procedures
We
appreciate that people would prefer not to be hospitalized,
if at all possible. We have perfected the techniques so
that the majority of surgical procedures can be performed
on an outpatient basis, even many complex shoulder, knee
and foot procedures are routinely scheduled for "Same-Day
Surgery." In addition, x-ray and casting facilities
are available at each of our office locations. Fractures
(broken bones) and other orthopedic injuries, in most cases
can be treated in our office.

Surgical
Scheduling
We understand that most people would like "elective
surgery" to be done ASAP. We are often able to accommodate
you with a surgical date within 1 to 2 weeks of your office
visit.
We
pride ourselves on keeping scheduled appointments. Most
of the time, we have one doctor available for hospital emergencies
so that your doctor's office hours will not be interrupted.
If an emergency does delay your doctor, we will make every
effort to notify you and accommodate your schedule.

Continuity
of Care
We believe in continuity of care. Your follow-up visits
will be routinely scheduled with the same doctor unless
you request otherwise. We always respect our patient's preferences.

Emergency
Care
Emergencies
are treated as such. If you have an acute injury that has
not been evaluated by a physician, our office staff will
generally offer you an appointment the same day. Emergencies
are handled 24 hours a day, seven days a week by calling
our main office number (609-561-8787). If you are injured
and taken to the emergency room at a local hospital, please
ask for us to be called to provide your musculoskeletal
care. Remember, you do have a choice. We are available 24
hours a day.
